In the 4-disc set of Close To Jesus are the stories of Joseph of Nazareth - Jesus earthly father, Judas - who betrayed Jesus, and Thomas - who we always equate as "doubting Thomas". The stories show their struggles and challenges to believe that Jesus is truly the Messiah. How does Joseph react to the news that his betrothed Mary is pregnant with the Messiah; how does Judas' decision alter history when he betrayed Jesus; and do each of us struggle to live by faith as Thomas did?  It's a wonderful series that will be an encouragement to your walk with Jesus, the Messiah!

Chasing The Star is unlike any Christmas movie that's probably out there. Taken solely from the perspective of three Magi priests, it's their quest to find the newborn Messiah when they've researched and desired to see. As they're written about in the Bible but so little is known about them, it's the writers intent I believe to show the demonic spiritual forces that were at work to stop them in their pursuit; not only confronting their own need of the Messiah and that they in and of themselves were not messiah's, but there were also angelic forces that were protecting them to find Jesus. It challenges you to think out of the box about them.

The Jewish history and ancestry of Jesus Christ is amazing, and on more than one occasion, we read the stories of the men and women who were part of it. The Story of Ruth is one of the women that God chose to be part of that lineage. The movie focuses more on the history of the Moabites from which Ruth comes, seeing their forms of worship to their god Chemosh (whether all accounts are historically accurate we're not sure). Regardless, we see why God Jehovah was against the Moabite people, and yet, Ruth, with a broken and contrite heart follows her mother-in-law back to Israel after she had lost everyone and everything. She makes the God of Israel her personal God, and through a series of situations meets Boaz whom she marries. Boaz is in the lineage of Jesus Christ who was to be born centuries later. It's a great movie.

The Apocalypse is an inspiring movie of the visions that the Apostle John received from Jesus Christ to the seven churches written in the book of Revelation. John, who was exiled to the Isle of Patmos by the Romans during their intense persecutions of Christians, is the last of the Apostles who personally witnessed the resurrection of Jesus. The whole book of Revelation is intense, with very vivid visions that he had while surviving on this desolate island.  It's a must see and will truly inspire your faith!
